What is required:

The role of the Operations Manager is the overall function of managing and developing solutions that improve the organisational performance of the business on a day to day basis. This includes; managing housekeeping and maintenance teams, proposing initiatives to increase revenue and occupancy and ensuring facilities are all well maintained at all times.

Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent. Relevant Hospitality diploma / experience. Familiar with all the duties of Rooms Division. Computer literate with strong MS Office skills, 3+ years relevant experience at management level in a luxury hotel/guest house/resort environment.

Competencies / Skills Communication: Verbal Communication and Comprehension – Expert English Standard. Other languages an advantage.

Cognition/thinking: Analysis/Reasoning. Strong Decision making & judgement skills.

Personal effectiveness: Self-Management. Attention to detail. Interaction with others. Influencing others.

Leadership/Teamwork/Management qualities: Strategic Vision, Team development experience.

Housekeeper

You Must Be:

  • Hard working and Physically fit.
  • Detail Oriented
  • Have exceptional Attention to Detail
  • Excellent in verbal communication
  • On-time, in the right place at the right time and ready with a smile
  • Have experience - preferable experience from a 5 star hotel or resort back ground.
  • Someone who genuinely cares about each guest’s experience
  • A Team Player! You do your best to help your team deliver the highest level of service at all times

What you’ll do:

  • Make sure our guests are happy!
  • Make sure our properties are Immaculate!
  • Welcome guests as they arrive and make sure they have the best possible experience.
  • Represent Stay In Luxury to clients and guests at the property during their stay.
  • Liaise between Guest Experience, Property Managers, Operations, Concierges, Maintenance and most importantly, guests
  • Problem-solving with your team on a daily basis
